Four people are dead after 10 individuals were shot in Fresno on Sunday evening after a family had gathered to watch football, police said. Three people were found dead in the home's backyard, while a fourth died at the hospital.
Fresno Police have confirmed four people were killed and at least six wounded in what police in this central California city are describing as a "mass casualty shooting."
Police Lt. Bill Dooley said no suspect or suspects had been identified in the shooting in southeast Fresno, which was reported shortly before 8 p.m. He said the family and friends were watching a football game in the backyard when one or more people sneaked in and began shooting.

The shooter was able to escape and police do not know their identity, Dooley said. It is, however, possible the person was known to the victims.
