Newcastle lose possession in their own half but Abraham can't take advantage as he tries to slip in Barkley. Schar manages to clear.

Saint-Maximin picks up the ball on the edge of the penalty area for Newcastle. However, the forward side-foots it well wide of Kepa's left-hand post.

Dubravka has a shocker there. The Newcastle goalkeeper rushes out to clear and but the ball somehow deflects off Abraham. Luckily, it stays away from danger.

Couple of chances for Chelsea as Hudson-Odoi clips a ball to the far post and Tammy Abraham heads wide, then Mason Mount has a strike at goal but Dubravka saves well.

Chelsea nearly go ahead through Mount. The England international turns and shoots at goal but Dubravka does well to push the ball away.

Chelsea starting to find their rhythm here. 

Chance! The best of the game for either side, and it's gone the way of the hosts as Hudson-Odoi clips beautifully to the back post for Willian, but he heads wide from close range. 

Miles better from the Blues, and again it's Hudson-Odoi creating - they can't lay a glove on him. He finds Mason Mount, who has too much time to turns and fire inside the box, but it's close enough to Dubravka for him to parry away. 

Chelsea’s best chance of success here looks to be through Callum Hudson-Odoi. He’s already created the Blues’ two best chances of the half and DeAndre Yedlin is struggling to cope with the 18-year-old when receiving the ball into feet.
